特點：棕***或淡青色塊狀，極易潮解。高溫煉鎂時，鎂極易氧化而燃燒，在出爐時，加入適量粉狀二號熔劑可阻止鎂的燃燒。在精煉金屬鎂時，加入二號熔劑進行精煉，可從溶液中沉淀出雜質氧化物和氮化物。其精煉和覆蓋性能比一號熔劑進一步提高。

用途：主要用于鎂及鎂合金的精練劑和保護劑及熔煉ZM5、ZM10合金時用作覆蓋劑。
